Between Pont d’Ain (North) and Ambérieu en Bugey (South) on the Bugey road.

At the South Pont d’Ain exit, take left at the roundabout after the bridge above the Ain river, and follow the Saint-Jean-le-Vieux signs. When you get to the small train station with a big wall painting, take left and the entrance is about 50 metres further along on your left.

At the North Ambérieux exit, follow Ambronay, and then Saint-Jean-le-Vieux. After the village sign, at the first crossing, turn left in the direction of Pont d’Ain. The entrance is about 100 metres further away on your right.
